One of the main points of the Code of Ethics concerns professional confidentiality. All psychologists are sworn to professional confidentiality: under no circumstance can they give personal information about their patients to anyone else (whether it be a member of their family, a doctor or a colleague) unless the patient specifically asks them to. In other words: your privacy is guaranteed. psychologist psychotherapist counselor counsellor

The central values which are the foundation of a psychologist’s work are openness and honesty. If certain principles of your therapy or the way of working don’t suit you, you can speak to your therapist directly so that a solution can be found together. psychologist psychotherapist counselor counsellor psychologist psychotherapist counselor counsellor

Psychotherapy sessions

What is fascinating in many of our psychotherapy sessions, is the relatively limited time that is needed before the psychologists understands your problem and has a clear picture of it. When you come to your consultation session and tell your therapist about your problem, we will first of all consider together how this problem occurs, where it comes from and the impact it has on you and your life.

Couples therapy

When a couple’s situation is such that the two people can no longer put up with each other, or that communication becomes practically impossible or at the least is very difficult, then it is worth calling a counsellor to try and re-establish communication and review the problems.
